  1. the money goes to the bank or credit card company VISA.. if you owed a guy named Harry.. why would you give VISA the  money you owed Harry. You can use your OWN CONVENIENCE CHECKS.. on your OWN account and write a check out to Harry, but youll be paying a higher rate of interest and it will effect your account.. see the difference?

  2. The only way to pay on someone else’s visa card by having their account number and entering it into your online banking pay bills. Or mailing in a check with their account number written on it. Or if you have all their security information for their credit card and lie and say that you are them and then ask to pay it through the customer representative, this can have a fee depending on the visa company, the state or provinces laws and the time frame you want the payment to go through on. You must have available your bank account branch number and your bank account number. It is illegal to impersonate someone else, so I do not recommend this to anyone. It is legal to pay this way if you get power of attorney over someone’s account and mail in the power of attorney. This gives you equal access to monitor their account and pay bills. This process is common with military personal that can not make payments while over seas. The credit card company automatically flags callers that do not call from home. This could give you more questions then usual including questions like when where and how much was your last purchase. The best way is to pay transfer the money to the persons bank account unless you are helping while they are overseas like the military for example. Good Luck

  3. Yes, just mail the money into the payment address on their monthly bill along with the portion of their monthly bill that should be mailed in with the payment.  Make sure their account number is on your check, for example, in the memo part of the check write "this is for payment of account # xxxx".  If you don't have the bill, attach a short note saying its "for payment of account # x*x".
