  2. No.  You have to be a citizen.

    The guy who said "yes" is wrong.  As a green card holder you can only petition a spouse and unmarried children.  Nothing more.

  3. YES you can.... Greencard holders may petition for family members to come to the US and recieve thier own greencards

    you dont have to be a US citizen to do that

    Also if you are a greencard holder you may naturalize and become a US citizen if you have been a permnament resident (greencard holder) for 5 years or married to a US citizen for 3 years.

  4. Yak Rider is right. Green card holders can only petition for spouses and unmarried children. Only citizens can file for parents, married children and brothers and sisters, plus spouses and unmarried children. You can always look it up for yourself at uscis.gov or travel.state.gov. It's not hard to confirm.
