Can i pick up a package at a ups station before hours?

i have a cell phone coming and I'm wondering if i can pick it up at the ups station before hours on the day of scheduled delivery? also would it be at the ups store closest to me or at a distribution center?

Yes--provided you know the tracking number.

Call 1-800-PICK-UPS and notify them that you want to do a "Will Call" and that you know the package tracking number.  They will open a concern that will be sent to the center in question.  Also, you might want to check with the center early, before the package cars go out to ensure that the package is NOT delivered.

I am not for sure if the person will be able to tell you what center your package is going to be coming from: especially in a large metropolis like New York.  All you can do is try!
