  1. Unfortunately that depends.  I have had that infamous "arrived at post office" scan only to find out it wasn't delivered same day as that scan.  Arrived at 7:35 a.m.  So obviously it missed the mail delivery truck.  And naturally I wanted to pick it up at post office myself- but they give you the "whole 9 yards" of excuses as to why they cannot let me pick up my own Priority envelope which should have been delivered THAT DAY anyhow!

"It might not have been sorted..."  "We don't know what TRUCK it's in...." "It may still be sitting in a truck...."  BLAH BLAH BLAH.  And MY retort was "not MY problem...GO FIND IT!"  Yet ONCE the same scenario happened (arrived at same time at p.o., 7:30-ish)- and THAT particular Priority envelope somehow jumped on that delivery truck ANYHOW and was delivered SAME DAY AS ARRIVAL!  Which is always how it SHOULD be.... no exceptions!  Unpredictable and incompetent.
