Can i play a game that is for 2.5 ghz on a system thats 2.3 ghz?

im trying to play medal of honor on my laptop thats 2.3 GHz and the game is 2.5 GHz is there a way that i can make the game play?

  1. Its not the CPU its the onboard video holding you back.


  2. yes you can but it will be on the lowest setting possible and it will be slow.

  3. The CPU is only part of your needs. If you have a decent graphics card, it'll easily make up for the 2.3GHz you're missing.

    In a general sense, .3GHz isn't completely a lot. I'm currently running on a 2.0GHz computer, 1GB of RAM with a GeForce 6150 LE, and I've been able to play most games (Half-Life 2, Portal, tons of MMORPGs, physics games, etc), with very little problems.

    In other words, .2GHz below the recommendation won't make much of a difference in the long run, you may get a small lag spike every so often (most likely rarely though), but it should be fine.

  4. yes just right click on icon or program go to properties and click compatibility and view in (whatever yours is) screen resolution then you can other wise its smaller or it could error  

  5. Yes, it will work fine, just watch for your video and ram, those are the most important parts too look out for.
