Can i play blu-ray/ HD dvd's on ordinary dvd players?

  2. No you can't because the regular DVD player can't downconvert the HD content on Blu-Ray discs to standard 480 resolution.

  3. no, you need a Blueray/HD drive or player. it's like putting a DVD into a CD rom drive. the data is just to comact for the laser to read!!

    theres 40-80 GB on one of those discs! and dvd's are about 4.7-9GB so the compression is quite a lot for a dvd player to read.

  4. you have to use blu-ray/HD-dvd players or Play Station 3 to play them. and i don't think you can play them on you notebok cause most of computers don't come with that equipment
