  5. No. You can plug it into a computer and if you leave that computer online 24/7, people on the network can print to it.

  6. Yes, usually... (If it's HP, Epson, Canon it should work, most other will also, but not Kodak.) but you will need what is called a "Print server" to do so.  The USB from the printer will plug into the print server, and the print server will connect to your router via a CAT5 network cable.  Linksys makes some, as well as several other manufacturers.  Just make sure the print server has a USB port, some are parallel ports only.

    If it's a Kodak printer, you can NOT use a print server, you're SOL... or get a different printer.
