  1. Of course you can be ready in six months!

I recommend you take a cheer tumbling class. Just look in your phone book and call around. Make sure you visit the gyms to get a feel of the enviorment and coaches, and to get the idea of the basic rates/ prices of the classes.

Some gyms (especially the ones in small towns) don't offer cheer tumbling, if that's the case, than basic tumbling will do also, although you wont learn things such as stunting. The lessons you take will help you with conditioning, and preparing for cheer leading tryouts, and they will give you a leg up (which you may or may not need depending on the size of your school and the competition there) on the other girls trying to make it onto the squad.

Just remember, there will be girls and guys there who have done this since they could walk, so expect there to be some really talented kids there, and try your best to learn from them, you may have to work harder to catch up with everyone else, but if this is something you really want, and if you're determined to see this through then go for it, I wish you the best of luck!

  2. Feel sorry for the cheerleaders, They were cut from last years volleyball team.

    Dont cheer.

    Play a real sport. Volleyball.

  3. Sign up for a gymnastics class and you can learn the basics. Dance will help because you need to remember a lot of cheers. Look up cheer videos and stuff and try to practice what they do.

  4. first of all, this is the volleyball section, not the cheerleading section (that's listed with the "other" sports).  however, i think that you might be able to make the cheer team if you practice all the time for 6 months.  talk to the cheerleading coach and see her opinion on what you need to do in order to improve.  (but i don't know how much you want to take my advice since i HATE cheerleading and know only the stuff that i heard my mom's boss talk about).  good luck, and try to stick to your designated question sections.
