Can i preview the file i'm downloading using Utorrent BEFORE the download is finished? how?

I'm donwloading a movie, but im not sure its the right one, how can i watch the received parts?

Bittorrent does not download the pieces of a file in order. You can only preview the file if the first piece has downloaded. If you have the first piece any player which can handle damaged files will preview it.

Sort of.  You have to have a media player that will play partial files.  GOM Player and VLC can do this.  

If you only have something like 10% of the file though, even these players won't be able to preview the file for you.  You must have somewhere around ~25% of the file or more for these players to open it at all.  Otherwise, they'll tell you the file is "damaged" or "corrupted".

You can to some extent but in toto you really cant,  it all depends.

As we all know Torrent clients download in threads ie they make small pieces of a big file and then download one by one Randomly.

Pieces selcted are generally 2MB, 4Mb etc

So if i am downloading a 600MB Video its going to make around

150 , 4MB pieces. And its going to download all pieces one by one in random sequence depending on the availibilty (seeders/leecher)

So if you want to preview a file, check the download progress of file. i.e Highlight the file that your are downing, check Download and availibilty horizontal bar, If the threads at the start seem prominent then probably you can see preview, but if they are broken then no preview,

download Mplayer for windows , it can  play some part by skipping

Nope. There are no media players in the world that can play a file while it is getting downloaded. No, no, no way...!
