  1. it depends da dealer but my bf did the same thing and he got the car the same day.

  2. yes if you have the credit or the cash to if you have cash its just signing if your financing toy have to haggle then you have to get a proved then sign it can all happen in about three hours

  3. As long as they have the car you want in their inventory and you're happy with your trade in value, then the sales process can take a couple hours. This depends on the size of the dealership as well as what time & day you go. For instance, if you go after their lenders close, then they might have you sign "Spot" papers and you will have to go back the next day to sign. Also, if you go on a weekend, the banks might be closed, which will delay your purchase. Good luck and I hope this helps.

  4. Sure, just sign on the dotted line.

  5. If you have the money on you, you can drive away in a new car in about an hour. If you want to work out a deal, any saleman worth his salt will waste as much of your time as he can. That is all in the game.

I would not tell them I want to trade in a car until a price on the car is settled on, then I'd reveal that I want to trade in a car. The BlueBook you can see and the BlueBook they use are not the same: You need to figure out what your trade in is really worth. It's probably better to sell it yourself or give it to a relative.

Financing is a drawn-out process, almost like going to court to defend yourself. Can you pay, how can you pay and can you demonstrate all this and  then who will vouch for you and what are they worth? After all that, the salesman disappears again for a long period and you get to sit in a room with his stinking cigar smoke and a pot of coffee to keep you nervous- as much as you want. Get your own financing and shortcut this madness.

  6. If you know which new car you want, go to the seller in the morning.  Drive your car to be traded. There is a make ready process but they can probably do it in the afternoon.

  7. sure, as long as the car is ready and the paperwork clears. They would probably clean and make it shinier before they give it to you...
