  1. do not put them together!! hamsters are very territorial, and might kill another that is in their home. is the baby old enough to have open eyes and walk around? If so, feed it regular hamster food like you give the other. Keep it warm by providing soft bedding and something to curl up and hide in. Make sure its habitat is not by a window

  2. NO! Hamsters don't get along unless they have been raised together. There is a good chance the bigger hamster will kill your baby dwarf.

  3. ONE WORD:

    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. no

    how old is the baby?

if it is under 3-4 weeks you should not have bought it.

Just use tissue in an igloo like this

    to keep it warm

and if it is 3-4 weeks or older feed it hamster food

  5. NO, don't put the baby in the cage with the adult hamster.

Dwarf hamsters can live together if they are from the same litter or have been introduced at the same young age.If they are not from the same litter or have an age difference, they can viciously fight and the adult hamster can kill and eat the baby hamster.

How old is the baby hamster? If it is within two weeks of age, it should be with its mother? What is it doing separately? If for some reason, it has become an orphan, then visit this website on how to treat / feed / keep warm orphaned hamsters -

If the hamster is more than 2 weeks old, you can give it regular hamster feed and put it in a separate cage with a 2 inch thick bedding and a small house, it will burrow into the bedding and keep itself warm and soon learn to do everything on its own and become a normal hamster.

  6. You shouldn't put a big hamster with a dwarf hamster because the big one might attack or eat the dwarf so i would say get different cages! TO KEEP A BABY DWARF WARM? Get alot of wood shavings and put in the bottom of the cage. Its natural instincs will tell it to burrow in the shavings to keep warm. To feed it, feed it fruit and veggies! make sure to wash them due to bacteria. It will KILL it!!!!
