  1. if he signs it on the back to endorse your putting it into your account it will be OK,


  2. Probably, if your son is a minor.  The best thing to do is check with your bank.

  3. You will struggle with this. Due to Money Laundering concerns, the Cashier who allows that to clear will be in big trouble!

    As your son will need a Bank Account at some stage, why not use the opportunity to set one up for him now? Your own Bank will be pleased to open up his own Account for him. Ring ahead and ask what documents they would want to see to set one up.

  4. Yes, you can, if your son is under 18.  It should be endorsed by you indicating that you are the parent.  Just ask the bank teller.
