  1. Do you mean a syrian hamster? (Not sybirian) Syrian hamsters are solitary so no,also when you have cages connected dwarfs can start to get territorial over certain parts which will lead to fighting.

  2. ye just c how they go if they fight then seperate them i have a robovoski with a russain winter t=white i no they both russian but they get on fine theve had no fights and i have them for about 5 months or so

  3. Really, I wouldn't do that. You probably have a Russian Campbell Dwarf Hamster (http://hamsterhideout.com/breedscampbell... and a Siberian Hamster (which are commonly called Winter White Dwarf Hamsters, too) is a different breed. http://hamsterhideout.com/breedsww.html

You can't put different breeds of hamsters together. They have to be with their own kind. Besides, how long have you had your current dwarf hamster? It's probably too late to introduce another hamster. They will most likely fight. And you should never put a male and female animal together to breed unless you really know what you're doing. It takes years of research to study about breeding hamsters.

  4. Sounds like you have a winter white russian dwarf (sold as Siberian in stores) and either a Campbell's Russian dwarf, or a Chinese dwarf hamster. If you got them at a pet store, their breeding is probably already mixed, so please don't mix it up further. If you really want babies, you can get another Siberian hamster and have it mate with the one you already have, since dwarf hamsters are fairly easy to breed. But I hope you do know that breeding produces way more than just one hamster. Mine had a litter of 12 just a few weeks ago.

  5. Dwarf hamsters are known to do okay in small groups when they are raised together.  If they are not raised together, few get along.  I never recommend getting a companion for a hamster that have not been raised together.

Do not get a s*x of a hamster different than the current s*x EVER.  There are too many hamsters in need of good homes already. Do not contribute to the overpopulation of hamsters.  This is especially important when you get a hamster from a pet store. Pet stores breed to breed rather than worrying about breeding for health or temperament.  Breeding from these animals can produce sickly or poor tempered offspring.  A true breeder will know their hamsters well enough to give you a blow by blow of their health history going back eight generations.  These same breeders will have you sign a contract stating you won't breed their hamsters and contribute to the overpopulation and or irresponsibly breed.  Breeders are aware that all their hamsters many not find homes in which case the breeder will already have room to take them themselves.

If you would like another hamster, my suggestion would be to get a separate cage and house them separately. Check out petfinder.com for a list of animals that need homes in your area.
