  1. No, the Syrian would inialate the dwarf. Syrian hamsters are made to live a solitary existence, and will fight to the death defending their territory. With both sexes they will have fights to the death especially if they are a different species! Never cross breed because the babies will come out screwed up. Dwarfs are social and can live with their own kind but will establish a hierarchy amongst themselves. They fight to accomplish this. The hierarchy gets the best food, toys, pretty much all the good stuff while the other one(s) get the leftovers. The good part is that when put with their own kind they tend to become more active and social.

  2. NO, he will eat him!  Your better off with just ONE hamster in one cage.  The dwarf will die for sure.

  3. No!  The Syrian will eat the Dwarf!

  4. No, you never put hamsters together even if they are from the same litter.  Hamsters are solitary animals who need to be left alone.  Two hamsters together in a cage can seriously injure or kill each other.

  5. No but you can put an emo one in there

  6. i dont think so but ask in a shop, thats will be the best.

  7. NO!!!!! They will fight until 1 of them is dead!!!!!!!!!!

  8. i dont think it would be a good idea

  9. 500 pionts! h**l ya

  10. NO Syrian hamster are solitary animals and would kill the dwarf but if you get another dwarf you can put the two dwarfs together pleas dont put the syrian and dwarf together

  11. Dwarf hamsters are naturally agressive (one of mine killled the other by means of hip dislocation.) You should keep them apart.

  12. you should never put two hamsters together. this is only accesptable if it is two female sisters and they have a large enough cage for seperate hiding etc

  13. No, definitely not. Syrians are extremely solitary, they should never be kept more than one to a cage. Doing so will end in the death of one or both hamsters involved. And you should never, ever mix breeds.

As for Dwarf hamsters, that's a risk you have to decide if you want to take. Some people insist Dwarfs can live happily together in any grouping. I don't believe it. I had a Dwarf, she had two babies. I thought the would be fine together. The little boy killed his mother, then his sister, then he died. And hamster has the ability to become territorial and aggressive, and fights are almost always fatal. I always recommend keeping just one hamster per cage, no matter the breed or s*x. It's just safer that way, and it's better than losing a pet. Hope I could help!

  14. Syrian hamsters MUST live alone.  They are solitary creatures and will kill a dwarf hamster.  Dwarf hamsters are sociable and can live in same s*x pairs or groups (depending on how much space you have and from the same litter).  I have kept russian dwarf hamsters and currently have three male roborovski hamsters.

  15. Hampsters never do well together.

They are a strange species, even females, or male/Female will not work.  One will kill the other.  It is a wonder the species survives

  16. you can put 2 of the same spicies together but not 2 diff one one will shirley die
