Can i put a turbo from a 99 eclipse gst on my stock 97 gs ?

Yeppers what he said.  Different compression ratios, engine and ecu/wiring harness swap.  Better off getting another gst or something.  Always start turbo from the factory, youll be happier that way.

2 different engines dude. swap the engine with it.

No, you can put the stock turbo, stock ecu, etc. on it though. It's not like an intake where you just slap it on and it works. A turbocharged engine works a whole lot different from an NA.
