Can i put butter on my 6 month old babys toast ?

 I give my baby toast and she loves it! Just now she only eats my crusts so there isn't any butter on it, but i don't see why you cant add butter. Dry toast is harder to eat, so adding something 'wet' to it makes it easier for them to eat. Try cheese spread instead of butter?
