  1. it depends on what s*x your baby is, you can't have two males in the same enclosure, they are really Territorial and will fight most of the time as they get older it is to the death, you can have two females together or a male and a female with no problems, if you get another one and they both turn out to be males then you will have to separate them when they mature,  and if you get a second tortoise you will need twice the space you have now, so there is no problem getting two but just make sure you know the s*x of them first, tortoises do live a solitary life so don't feel too bad about keeping one tortoise on its own, best of luck with your tortoise honey.

  2. don't know!

  3. Depends... Maybe if they are both the same age then yes, but if one is a baby, and the other is, as you say, 2 years old, then there may be some fighting involved. Also, I believe this goes without saying, if one is female and one is male, they could reproduce!

  4. I put my box turtles in with my tortoise in the same cage all the time never encounterd any problems! as for haveing a male and female  of the same species breeding, I knowe for a fact that you have to hybernate them in order for the female to produce fertal eggs Ive had my box turtle lay eggs many times  and never have any of them hatched even though they were in an incubator.
