Yes you can.  Put it on delicate cycle with the other shoe.  It doesnt ruin your washer or your shoe.   I have brand new new balance shoes and i got bronzer on it and i washed them in the washing machine as i have always done all my life and the stain came out using bleach and detergent in the water.
