Can i put my beta in with my other fish

Question

i know the answer is probably no but i have heard that it is possible to put a beta in with some other fish, like i read up on female betas and it said that if the female is not aggressive it can be kept in the same tank as other females...but instead of other betas i have 2 tetras a plecos and some kind of gold fish i forgot what it was called but it is pink (i think its called an orange goldfish) or somthing like that. im not actually going to do it i dont want to risk my breeding female, or any fish for that matter but tell me what you think

A female betta can be kept with other fish usually.  With other females it's best to keep a group of 5 or more to reduce fighting.  It doesn't belong with a goldfish which is a coldwater fish.

Yes bettas can be put with other fish just not other male bettas....they are only agressive towards each other..

no. the beta always have to be separate cuz it will attak other fish

females can go in with other fish.  So can the males as long as they are not other male betas.  You also have to consider if the other fish are fin nippers.  Some other fish will chew on the fancy tails.  They do it to angles, guppies etc. with flowing tails.  Be careful and watch them.  You may be okay with introducing them together.

yes you can put bettas with other fish the truth is just do not put male bettas togather and do not put males with females unless you have a large tank with lots of hiding places

the biggest thing about putting male bettas with other fish is be on the look out if you have fancy guppies as they may attack the guppys and watch out for fin nippers putting your betta into your tank with the other fish will not put it at risk in anyway but having goldfish with tropicals like you have done is a no no the to types of fish have different dietery needs and there foods don't work well for the 2 type of fish also gold fish need cooler water than tropicals
