  1. Green Spotted Puffers need brackish-marine conditions to stay healthy; Ropes are entirely freshwater.  A much better choice would be a GSP and a Dragon Goby-- both (you could even have a couple GSP) will require a raised salinity and will be comfortable in a 55 gallon tank (the Goby will get about a foot long).
