Can i put my strawberry plant into rectangular flower pots?

  4. I could not get the pictures of the flower pots up, but strawberry plants should be fine. I am living in Japan right now, so things are kinda crowded. I started growing strawberries in a planter out side on my porch. My four little plants have now turned into strawberry bushes!! My planter is about 8 inches deep. I think the deeper your pot is, the larger the plants will grow because they can really get some roots down. Remember that flower pots dry out quickly, and juicy berries require a lot of water. With that water will wash away nutrients in the soil, so fertilizer should be added about once every week or two.

    Edit: I finally got the picture of the flower pot to show up. That is almost the same thing I have my strawberry plant in, and they are doing awsome!
