  1. What are you trying to say????

  2. I'm assuming this is in effort to reuse your bathwater to water the garden?

Put the hose in through the bathroom window, get a useful friend to hold their thumb over the garden end of the hose while you fill it up using bathwater and a jug and once the hose is full, keeping your thumb over the end, dip the hose into the bath. Once your friend releases their thumb, water will syphon down.

Incidentally, you can get a small hand operated pump to do this from lakeland plastics or wrigglywigglers.

  3. It is vital that the end you're sucking is lower than the other end. ie, put the tank (or whatever that you're sucking water from) on a table and lie on the floor to suck the other end. The bigger the height difference between the two ends, the more pressure the water will come out at.

To ease the siphoning, ensure that there are no kinks or small bends in the hose.

Just watch out for that first lung-full of water!!

  4. WTF are you on about?

  5. What ever turns you on!!!

  6. You left an air bubble.

What the heck is the water in?

Outlet of hose needs to be below the water level in the can/pond/tub/whatevr.  Siphon won't pump up hill.

  7. depends on how long it is and is the water dirty
