my computer used to have itunes on it but it got a virus or somethign and everything got deleted, including my songs and itunes software. i tried to reinstall the itunes but it wouldn't install it for some reason, my computers still a little screwy. i'm wondering if there's anyway to put songs on my ipod without itunes? can i plug the USB cord in and send the individual song files to the "removable storage" folder like how generic mp3 players work?

  2. Actually, I stumbled upon some softwares that claim that they can upload your songs without iTunes.. why don't you just Google them? I forgot what it was, but it sounds like cool.

Either way, try Windows Media Player 11, I heard it's compatible both with Zune and iPod. Or ask Apple for support.

  3. yes you can still put songs even w/o itunes
