Can i put subs in my equinox without changin cd player

Question

i have a 08 equinox sport with the premium sound. it comes with a sub but its not that powerful. im wondering if i can put a 10in sub and a new amp without changing the cd player and loosing my steering wheel controls

you can install amp and subs on a factory deck whit something like this  http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID1/15...

Theyre simple to install on most cars and its cheaper than a new deck.
