Nope, it needs to be weighed and valued, otherwise it'll either get sent back to you, or to the other person, and one of you will have to pay a massive excess charge cost, otherwise it'll be destroyed.

if it doesnt go over weight then yes that should be ok.

weight it, and check it up on link below which lets you order postage online and see how much they would want you to pay.

Would be best to take it to the post office as there are different classes now! It got very confusing when they reformed the large and small letter postage!
