  1. usually you should buy another cage and put the two in at the same time b/c your cockatiel might fight with the other b/c it was there first.

  2. Please do not do that. I've actually tried that on a hen with a injured young pigeon. The hen tend to attack the pigeon due to jealousy and territorial state of sense.

  3. Not yet please, you didn't mention which kind of bird you wanted to place with it. I would not do it for the simplle fact if they do not get along your baby cockatiel is way too young to be having to defend itself against another bird who is going to be a dangeous stranger to the baby. Never risk it. Now it is perfectly safe to put parakeets with cockatiels or maybe even finch or another cockatiel. But please never risk your baby cockatiel's life trying to house it with another parrot type bird. Because your cockatiel will loose it's life or be very badly injured, because you didn't know any better.

  4. Hi,

Yeah sure as long as the cage is big enough.

What were you thinking of putting in there?

One problem though, if you want the cockatiel to be tame then it won't be if you have two, you can only have one if you want it tame.
