to make it upload faster? i heard from the microsoft E3 that they'll start doing that, and they'll have a 60gig model. i'm not sure about the installation requirement, but it better not take as long as PS3's average 30-45 minute installation, that's excluding the constant updates

No unless, you find a way in which you'll be banned from XBL.You can get your xbox chipped so your can play games that you burn yourself.

As far as I am aware, Microsoft will enable you to install game data from your game disk before the end of the year. This will only be to reduce loading times and possibly make the console quieter. You will still need to use the disk each time you wish to play.
