Can i re-enter US with VALID US VISA but expired I-94?

  1. you had to return your I-94 card. Now the immigration will think that you have overstayed your visa, if so. check with the a american consulate in your country.


  2. when you leave the US, you will be asked to surrender your I-94. your overstay will be documented. the next time you come back in the US, you might have a hard time going thru customs because of that overstay

  3. If you stayed longer than authorized (and the I-94 is evidence of that), your visa is considered automatically void by operation of law, section 222(g)(2). Therefore, you will need a new visa issued in the country of your nationality to apply for admission to the U.S.

    The visa used to overstay is no longer valid.
