Question:

Can i really make it to the top, what does it take?

I am 6ft 5 inch, weigh about 12.5 stones, i love boxing, i really want to become a pro boxer like Amir Khan, i want to be well recognised.

I do boxing every 2 days for about 2 hours, i will increase if i have to (seeing what you lot say)

Anyway what do you reckon i need to do to make it to the top?

Please tell me all you know and remember the name

  1. go to a boxing gym and start training. don't worry about the top. you'll get there f you are meant to get there. btw once you get to the top then everyone wants to knock you down


  2. Well my man before you make it to the top you have to be a Contender. At your height your only chance is heavy weight  as you get older you will see its harder to make weight. To have a good pro career you must have a great amatuer career. (in most cases unless  your skill level is great ex. hearns)

    Amir Khan won the gold in '04 and the olympics is the top amatuer contest most great boxers have all had olympic experience the reason why they all made it big was skill and having a sponser/promoter.

    Your best bet would be to train everyday.

    Also most fighters are born with a natrual skill whether its speed, power or smarts in the ring. So what i can tell you is that do your best, train everyday give it everything you have  

      and one day you will find out , whether you have it or if you dont.

  3. Forget the dream and get a good education. I know, I used to be a dreamer too.
