My child's father is receiving SSI due to his disability. His two children from a previous relationship are also receiving checks as they are under 18. Is my daughter eligible for payments due to the fact she was born after he qualified. Also will the money be deducted from his SSI payments? And if not how do I go about this? thanks.

  1. i just have a question...im not disabled but i have a daughter that is and receives SSI and i cant get a job cause im her 24/7 caregiver/mother so 674 a month just doesnt cut it and with disabled children your not allowed to put them in daycare it would be considered to risky. so my question is.....can i receive some kind of benefit for having to be home 24/7 to take care of my daughter.

p.s there is a difference between people who actually need the money and people that just want it so they dont have to work. so if u need it call the local office if u just want it to get out of work well karma will come back at u soon enough
