Can i recieve just HD Channels on Dish network?

I don't want any other channels just HD? Is this even possible?

  1. I think you have to subscribe to a package.


  2. Yes, after Aug 1.

    They have announced 3 new packages called "TurboHD" in Bronze, Silver and Gold.  These packages include your locals in HD, and all the other channels are only in HD.

    Wait until after Aug 1 to order and get the 722 DVR with your install. It is a dual-tuner receiver and you can hook up an external USB hard drive to it to archive off favorite movies/shows if you want to.

    I am planning to give up my "Top 150" package for one of these all HD packages after Aug 1.

  3. Yes you can get and HD only package starting at $29.99.

    It's a good thing because the standard channels look like c**p on on HD receiver for some reason.
