Can i reduce my passenger seat belt ticket ?

is there any way i can reduce my passenger seat belt ticket which is 276 dollars.............cuz passenger got the tickets too so they are not going pay for me and they all are always broke and i don't have that much money to pay either

One could say that you're lucky in that a ticket is all you got...Not sure if you were driving or the passenger...If you and your passenger both were cited, it's 'dutch treat' - you each pay your own fine...The court doesn't care who puts the money up...When you go to court explain your situation to the judge and, if this is a first-time offense, you might get by with a reduced fine.

    Just remember, the driver is responsible for making sure that ALL occupants of the vehicle are strapped in...Not using a seat belt is one of those violations that doesn't leave much room for compassion.


  2. Wear the seatbelt in the first place...serves you right.

  3. Same as before...........dress nice when you go and see the judge, speak when you are spoken to and ask politely if maybe you can take some type of classes that will reduce this all together, its a 50/50 chance but good luck.
