Can i remove the administrative log-in password using guest account or any other way? ?

I forgot my administrative log-in password, but i can use the guest account. I want to remove that password because guest's rights are very limited. Is there any other way to remove the administrative log-in password?

i have the same question. the administrator has resigned and gone and he is refusing to give the password details. let me know how i can open with out the password?
