Can i remove things from my homepage such as finance tab and sports tab?

I am not interested in stocks and financial stuff or sports. I would like to have these tabs removed from my home page. (in the area where weather, horoscopes, local, financial, sports are located) Can I put something there instead? If not how do I have them removed?

Click on Customize and it will take you to a screen to remove the things you want and add things.
