Can i renew my student visa in the USA or Mexico/Canada?

hi to everybody!i'm foreign student from Russia,came to the USA with a student visa.now i'd like ot visit Mexico?but my visa has expired,i still have a student status till 2012 .can i renew my visa here or Mexico/Canada to be able to come back to the states?

you CAN renew it in Mexico, many people do as a matter of fact, it is not an uncommon practice, depending where in mexico you go but there are plenty of US consulates in the country to do so,
