Can i report it to the local police or charge her as extortion?

there is a certain lady who claimed to be an overseer in a group and she is asking ten percent to each member as tithes offering yet she is not a pastor but a nurse..can we report it to the police?the money collection has been in her own account as well coz the group is not registered

why not talk with the group members or leave the group because this doesn't sound right or have anyone confront her and stop it and create your own group
