  1. Why not, as long as you have certificate of the rank you earned, why not.  You earned this rank, so go with it, maybe hold off on testing for a little while and get your game back.

  2. I'm not familiar with how things are done in TKD schools. But from my experience many school will allow you to keep your rank. But you have to be refreshed and go back and learn all of the necessary things you need to know to keep that rank and to advance. If it is a different style you have to learn what it takes to have that rank in your new style.

    Good Luck.

  3. Ask the instructor. That's what I did when I started training again.

  4. You would if I were teaching you.  I think all of these Taekwondo splits are ridiculous.  WTF. ITF. GTF. Jhoon Rhee.  TangSoo. Come on!

Most schools make you start over from white belt, due to you not knowing their forms.  But, if the school has the same style you learned, you may get to keep it.

Be glad that you may have to start over now, instead of being ready for black belt, having to stop due to life issues, then re-starting again.

  5. depends if they do not hav ur record or they throw it away , u just hav to restart frm a white belt

  6. i think so

  7. yh

  8. You will have to start over, but you should be able to move back up pretty fast.

  9. At my school, we usually put the student in the beginner class for a couple of months so that they can get back into it.  We do allow them to keep their rank, but they must re-take that test once they are ready.  Then they continue on as if they never left.
