Can i return a shirt without a receipt?

i lost the receipt but the shirt still has its tags and its not washed or anything. so can i return it? its a vans flannel?

usually stores will give you store credit, but not like the cash back or anything.

Yup! I always lose my receipts haha.

You just have to make sure the tags are on and it's unworn/unwashed (like you mentioned). But the thing is, you will NOT get cash back. No worries though since you can either exchange it or get merchandise/store credit in the amount it's priced at =]

they might just give you store credit. . . i'm gunna say they definitely wont give you your money back tho.

If you bought it on a credit card they may be able to look it up.

If you did not buy it on a credit card and with cash their is no way to return it.

maybe, maybe not. if you dont have the receipt they might still take it and just give you store credit.

You have 2 options.. if you paid with it by credit card they can usually look up the reciept by that - within 90 days i believe. If not then you can return it for the value it is now - if its currently on sale or clearance thats the amount you will get back and get a store credit.

Most stores won't allow you to return it without a receipt.  To allow returns without receipts encourages shop lifters.  The best they might do is allow you to return it for store credit.

It really depends on their return policy. Go to the store or just call and ask them. :) They may, or may not let you return it, but it's worth a shot, right?
