Can i return a toy to target without a recipt?

It depends on the item and if you have returned something without a receipt.  They allow you a certain number of time (I can't remember the number) to returns things without the receipt.  They will ask for your drivers license (or your parents) and put the number in the system.  You may have a better chance if you take a store credit.  Try it.

Yea, but you have to explain to them why and how long ago had you bought it...I returned a backpack without the recipt last year

You will not receive a refund without a receipt.  You may be able to get store credit if you return it within 90 days.  Their return policy is so strict now, it's ridiculous.  I have returned things there before and it's almost not worth the trouble.  good luck.

There's no store I know of that will take returned items without receipts.  If you're lucky and the store clerk recognizes you from when you bought it, they *might*, but in a large store like Target, not very likely to happen.
