Can i return something i bought at a mall at a different mall but with the same store (example included)?

i bought something at forever 21 but i want to return it because i accidently bought two of them so i was thinking if i could return it BUT at a different mall...

& that mall has forever 21. i can't return it at the first mall i got it at because of the far distance.

so could i return it at the 2nd mall near my house?

yeah that should be no problem. as long as you have the receipt, tag still on and within their allowable time, then you can return it to any forever 21 store. usually stores have either a 30, 60 or 90 day policy for returns.

Every store has their own return policy.  But most retail stores in malls will allow a return from another one of their stores with a receipt.

Sometimes stores are independently owned and the franchise doesn't support returns from other stores, but not often.  To be sure, you could call the local store and save some gas, by not having to drive there for nothing if they won't return it.

Also you may want to return it soon, as there is always a time limit on when you can return it.
