Can i return this back to Circuit City?

Question

I bought an Av adapter cable for my xbox 360. I couldnt get the digital audio to work. I am so used to getting a receipt in the same hand of money that i did not realize that the lady did not give me one. And i did not notice this until i got home.

Will i be able to go back tomorrow and get my money back even though she didn't give me a receipt?

Circuit City keeps a record of receipts in their computer by the phone number you gave them at checkout.  That is why they always ask for a phone number.  It will make your return much easier.

Probably not. If you can prove that you bought it from them you may be able to ***** enough to get store credit
