can i reverse flow a flowmaster 40??

I have Flowmaster Delta-flow 40's on my Mustang. I remember the instructions were specific about flow direction. I think reversing direction increases backpressure, which is what you want to avoid.

I did it on my friends ML and it sounded like garbage. Also there are no arrows on Flowmasters, just an inlet sticker. I would get the proper configuration, try another series if they dont make what you need in a 40 series.

Why would you want to??They flow fine in the direction the arrow points.You'll lose horsepower and sound quality.
