  1. You can drive your quad on the roads, as long as it is registered at swansea and has number plates issued. Helmets are optional as with trikes.

    Quad bike would need to be fully road legal, headlights, indicators, number plates etc. It must also be fully insured.

    Check your licence, if you have passed a car test you should have Cat B1 as full entitlement.  quad is a Cat B1 vehicle.

    Crash helmets are not required by law but it would be highly advisable to wear one.
