  1. Yeah you can, there will only be a difference in speed if they are both using the broadband at the same time and downloading a big file which might use up your bandwidth.

  2. Yes but you need to get a router.  Newegg has tons of them.

  3. Of course, but you need a router, your isp usually gives you one, or you can buy a cheap one for under £40

  4. Yes ya just need a router either wireless or wired depends where computers are in house but wireless much easier than having cables everywhere!

  5. You should be able to. The type of OS does not make a difference to your Broadband.

  6. Hey there,

Yes, you can have two computers using the internet threw one connection. Depending on what Broadband connection you're using, you'll need to purchase a router.

If you're under Sky Broadband, you won't need a router, just slot in another Ethernet cable into port two and slot the other end into your other computer.

If you're under any other Internet Service Provider, then you'll need to purchase a router. Once you do have a router, connect one Ethernet cable from the router to the cable modem. Then, you need two more Ethernet cables. Connect one from your computer to the router, then do the same to the other computer.

  7. Yep.

You'll need a router.  The type depends on whether you get your internet by cable (like Virgin) or phone line (like BT).  Both are pretty cheap these days.

You can either plug both PCs into the back of the router or go wireless.  You will need to buy a wireless dongle for your PCs if they don't have wireless built in (it comes as standard on newer ones).
