Can i save a song or project in fl studio DEMO VERSION?

i was wondering if and how i could save a song using the demo version of fl studio or fruity loops

You can indeed record the song, but not save the project.

You could even use a tape recorder to record the audio.

no, they make it that way to entice you to buy the full version. However, you could use an audio capture/mixer program such as sonar, soundforge, acid, etc (not sure of free ones but am sure there are plenty floating around on internet, goldwave is an old one I remember). to capture your audio as it plays if you're happy with your song and done manipulating via fl production.  There are.. other ways to circumvent as well but none I would recommend here. do some research good luck

use Cool Edit Pro. open a new file and record. that will record everything that is heard from the "inside" of the computer (don't have to have the speakers on). just be careful not to make other sounds like playing another file or generating windows error sounds, etc.
