Can i say that this is discriminating???

i went to the free clinic yesterday afternoon and i got there 3 o'clock exactly to have my health test.i did waited and didn't come to work at 5 pm that i was supposed too.but i don't wanna waisted my time again and come back at the clinic cuz it's almost 5 and they haven't called me yet.the guy told me that they're not gonna be able to help me cuz they're really busy and he as me if i just wait until 5;30 and i waited and time just past by and i was talking to the front desk clerk to check if why they haven't calling me yet! they we're saying that they have to help the homeless people first.and i said okey but i'm for sure that half of the people who are in the clinnic since i got there are nnot homeless.but those who just got there before me was already getting help from the staff of this clinic and i waited and waited until it's 9 pm and they send me home.. they told me that they're not gonna be able to asssist me>pls.let me know if i can file a complain againts discrimination

  1. when you are going to a clinic like this you need to be prepared to stay until you are seen...unfortunately your appt time does not necessarily mean you will be seen then...i know that is the purpse of having an appt but they take these on a basis of who is available for what in the back...you dont know each individual case so you dont know who they are seeing and for what...also its free so i wouldnt complain about it...problem is that if you are in a position that you need a free clinic then you are also in a position where you cannot afford to take a day off from work to sit in a waiting room..

    this case is worth making a complaint for not helping you when you need help but it's not really discriminating unless your a black or an asian person and they really made you feel they are not interested to help you bec. of that. I should say though that they should help those people who came in first because considering the time alone that you spent to go there is enough to give you their time and service!

    but why would they discriminate against u

    was the hospital not helping those ppl who were not sick, if that is the case then , yes this is a discrimination against healthy ppl
