  1. Well it has snowed in Auckland before. They reckon about once every one hundred years.

  2. not sure

  3. What Ken said. It doesn't snow in Auckland EVER. About 4 hours south of auckland, is the nearest to auckland you will find snow. If you really want alot of snow, go to the south island.

  4. Its highly unlikely you will see snow in Auckland. Head south if you want to see the snow.

  5. No,Auckland is too far north to have the conditions for snow in August---or any month. To see snow closest to Auckland you would have to travel about300 miles south to theThe Volcanic Plateau area, here are the Ruapehu and Tongariro ski fields where there should be snow well into August. In higher regons of this area there is snow all year round.

  6. No there is no possible way you will see snow in August.

I think the last time it snowed in Auckland was about 40 years ago, and it was just that snowing... but it left nothing.

If you head to Mount Tongariro or Mount Ruapehu, thats where the closest snow to Auckland will be, about 5 hours south of Auckland.

In August... im not sure... climate in New Zealand changes like we change our underwear.

  7. Yes and a lot of it. Its the height of the snow ski season. But most of it will be on the South Isalnd in the Queenstown/Wanaka area.
