Can i sell Tobacco when im 16 in a retail store?

Question

Im currently 16yrs old and i know a person who owns a small smoke shop in town. Can i ask the person if i can get a job at the store, and be able to sell tobacco to anyone over 19?

I live in British Columbia, lower mainland, Delta
