Yes, of course - so long as it's not actually being/been repossessed ...

Needless to say, the Mortgage Company will insist you pay off the outstanding balance** when the sale goes through .. and may not be willing to grant you a new mortgage on a new property ..

**If your house sells for less than the current outstanding Mortgage, you must make up the difference on the 'completion' date .. if you do not have the funds, the sale will be blocked ..
