Can i send a message from yahoo messenger to someone who's mobile..their in the States, i'm in UK..?

When i went to send a im, it changed to a text message, i dont think i have to pay for it, but i wondered if they would get it as i'm in UK and their in US...does anyone know?

Msn works when my wife is away on business trips so Yahoo! should do.

you should be able to, type "+" before US Country's number, which is "1". For example if your friend's phone number is (123--->area code)1234567, then you have to type:

[phone] after you hit: Action-->Send an SMS Message on your Yahoo Messenger. Good luck.

yes u can send MSG to any one mobile provided that his service provider should support yahoo services to do that just click on mobile icon and then type the mobile no make sure u have added the country code and type your MSG and click on send it will reach soon to that mobile. there is some restriction by yahoo after u send 3 MSG to that no. it must reply by that mobile
